This laser uses an open can diodes from a 20 x LG DVD Burner. The laser has a card made out of washers soldered together and then soldered around the collimator. To drive the fan off of 2 AA's i used a small boost circuit. The boost circuit is inside the LED upgrade. You have to dismatle it carefully to get it out and use it.
